A little update on my wife Lindsey’s Instagram account, @20MinutesOfCray: If you’ve been following her, you might have noticed Lindsey adding more of a personal touch to her posts and captions. This is great and means she is evolving within her own creative world, but #20MinutesOfCray didn’t align with what she was sharing anymore.
When signing up to The Craymunity newsletter we ask you a few questions to help us understand you better—in turn—allowing us to help our audience accomplish their goals. One of the questions asks you to tell us your biggest struggle when pursuing calligraphy. The majority of the responses are pretty much the same: finding time.
I’ve always said, my problems are mostly inconveniences when compared to the struggle many people in this world have to endure. So before reading any further, please know that I fully understand my troubles are a grain of salt compared to the dispensers a lot of people have to shake every day.
It’s been awhile since I’ve addressed anyone publicly. It’s been even longer since I’ve addressed you personally. There’s a good reason for my detachment and frequent, sporadic hiatuses. I’ll get to this later, but at the very least, I would like to address my communicative point of view and change it going forward.
